How to use Tonusol vegetable fertilized soil

White sphagnum peat moss, composted conifer bark, black peat, horse manure, pozzolan, organic fertilizers, marine algae, Lombric Compost.
PLANTING IN OPEN GROUND
Shrubs:
- Prepare a mix of 2/3 Tonusol’s Organic Mediterranean and Citrus Compost and 1/3 garden soil.
- Dig a shallow hole, twice the volume of the root ball at most, and 20 cm (8 inches) larger in diameter.
Citruses:
- Prepare the soil beforehand in order to ensure adequate drainage.
- At the bottom of the hole, put gravel or small pebbles.
- Do not cut any of the roots.
- Do not incorporate fertilizer during the first six months.
PLANTING IN GARDEN BEDS OR POTS
Garden beds:
- Opt for larger, shallower garden beds.
- At the bottom of the container, put gravel, shards or small pebbles.
Pots:
- Do not water the root ball too much.
- Repot the plant every 2 years in a new pot 4 cm (1.6 inch) larger in diameter.
SOIL TREATMENT
In open ground for vegetables and flowers, and for pots:
Every year, in spring and fall, remove a 4 to 6 cm layer (1.6 to 2.4 inches) of the old compost on the surface and replace it with fresh Organic Mediterranean Compost Tonusol.
