 SOWING

Sowing should be performed from spring, when frost is no longer expected, until the end of August at the latest.

In open ground:

-        Crumble the soil on the surface and level well, spread a layer of compost 3 to 4 cm thick (1.2 to 1.6 inch).

-        Scatter the seeds when there is no wind so that they are evenly distributed.

-        Cover the seeds with a rake and add a thin layer of Tonusol’s Organic Seed Sowing Compost.

-        Water with a spray.

In planters, boxes and pots:

-        Sow in a sheltered and well-lit place.

-        Fill your container with the Tonusol’s Organic Seed Sowing Compost.

-        Sow your seeds and cover them with a thin layer of compost.

-        Pack and place a perforated sheet to allow for air flows.

-        Water with a spray.

CUTTINGS

Cuttings should be performed 2 to 3 weeks after the seed sprouted.

-        Use a dibble to allow for the roots to grow.

-        Dip the base of your cutting into a hormone rooting powder.

-        Fill the pot with Tonusol’s Organic Seed Sowing Compost.

-        Carefully insert your cutting and water with a spray.

-        Cover with a perforated, clear plastic sheet for the first few days.

-        Choose a well ventilated spot that is not too humid.

-        Avoid drafts or direct sunlight.

TRANSPLANTING

Do not add fertilizer the first 4-5 weeks.

In open ground:

-        Crumble the soil and incorporate a 5 to 8 cm layer (2 to 3 inches) of Tonusol’s Organic Seed Sowing Compost with a cultivator.

-        Put some compost at the bottom of each hole and place your plant.

-        Fill with Tonusol’s Organic Seed Sowing Compost up to the base of the stem.

-        Pack and water generously.

In pots and planters:

-        With a transplanter, dig up the seedlings. Make sure you protect the roots.

-        Fill the pot with Tonusol’s Organic Seed Sowing Compost and make a hole for your seedling.

-        Pack and water generously.
